Situated just four miles north of downtown San Antonio, the town is completely surrounded by San Antonio on its west, north, and south sides. Olmos Park was developed as an exclusive suburb of San Antonio in the 1920s and has maintained its upscale vibe ever since.

Founders

The town was developed by H.C. Thorman, a renowned oilman and real estate tycoon. He purchased the property from an Austrian count and transformed it into the luxurious Olmos Park we know today.
